Status Update on Petition Signature Collection

This is just a quick status update on our efforts to oppose the Board’s recent court actions. We deeply appreciate the response we have received to the objection petition, and especially your warm and friendly response to our canvassers! We have all enjoyed our conversations with you about the situation, your past experiences with and historical knowledge of the HOA, and thoughts on possible paths forward.

To all of you: a heartfelt THANK YOU!

The response so far has been overwhelmingly positive which has reinforced the original reasons why our group decided to go door to door. We plan to continue to gather signatures as time permits to send a strong message to the board that a significant number of homeowners do not agree with their actions of spending HOA funds in an attempt to overturn the vote from December.

Accordingly, you will see our canvassers continue to walk the neighborhood knocking on doors. As many of you have already done, please feel free to print out the provided objection form and provide it to your neighbors for signature. When a form is ready please drop us an email at info@gca-residents.com and we'll be happy to stop by and pick it up. Your help is greatly appreciated! Alternatively, if you would like us to visit you to discuss the reasons of why we're objecting to the board's actions, please let us know and we'll be happy to stop by.

In the meantime, we continue to gather input from our community. We have received a number of email suggestions including concerns regarding specific provisions in the proposed revised covenants that need addressing. We are collating those and have identified a few places where there are common concerns.

Once we achieve the immediate objective, we will be looking at next steps based on your feedback. One thing that is immediately clear is that we need to rebuild confidence in our HOA.

Again, we thank you for your support. Feel free to reach out to us on this email address if you have any comments, concerns, questions, or suggestions!

Sincerely, Concerned GCA Residents
