Objection Petition Available for Signature!
First, we want to thank you again for your patience and support while we worked through the legalese and logistics preparing for the filing of the objection petition. It has been a rather laborious process, but we can report that we have both a viable document and a plan for gaining the required signatures.
As noted before, you are a critical part of that plan. We deeply appreciate the response and the willingness expressed to both sign the petition yourselves and to approach neighbors and friends to likewise gain their support. We now have over 160 registered participants - the court requires that we submit signatures from 33% of homeowners, which amounts to 235 of us. We are confident this can be achieved with your help.
Please print this form, fill it out, and sign it. You need to fill in the name and address fields in the “filed by” block on the upper left of the page. The phone number and email fields are optional, but recommended if you are willing to provide them. You then need to print your name, sign and date the bottom of the page.
If you are unable to print the form (e.g., no access to a printer), please reply to this email and let us know. We will get printed forms for your signature and use.
When you have completed the form(s), please reply to this email or send an email to info@gca-residents.com notifying us so we can arrange with you for pickup. We will collect all the signed forms and file the petitions as a block to save filing fees.
As a reminder, the current deadline is in early June, so getting this done quickly is necessary. Accordingly, you may see volunteers from our organizing committee canvassing your neighborhood, or perhaps knocking on your own door. You are welcome to give them any signed petitions you have collected, and please do tell them which addresses you may have visited so we can avoid bothering people multiple times.
